Truth is an absolute and never can be altered
In times of violent conflict truth has never faltered
Regardless of the vessel if truth is ever spoken
These are words eternal that never can be broken
Truth is still the truth though it has been abused
And it’s still the truth when spoken by a hypocrite accused
It stands alone, needs no defense and is consistently unbending
It will stand the test of time, and ripples out unending.
