Fire of God consume the whole
Of that which isn’t You
Burning out this earthly flesh
And things which aren’t in view
From the altar take a coal
Live, let it ignite
Every aspect of my being
Let it glow with heavenly light
Amber glowing, pulsating live
With magnetic beauty rare
And a warm transparency
It’s a fire that I can share
Never let Your Holy fire depart
For with out You I’ll be
A black and dirty lump of soot
With no eternity
