Are You Ready

It doesn’t take much looking round

To see there’s something wrong

It’s written in the papers

And in the latest song

Even natures groaning

And proclaims the end of time

Everything supports this fact

God has shown us His sign

Are you ready for this time?

Is your soul prepared?

Or do you push this thought away?

A time that’s to be feared

It’s no use to close your eyes

Think the end will never come

For it’s closer than you think

A time you can’t out run.

It will catch you when you least expect

So face it with all courage

Deal with the issue

Let no man discourage.

It’s best to go back to the source

Where it all began

The answer’s in the Bible

With the fall of man.

When you confess your fallen state

There’s a remedy close by

Later in the Book

Where Jesus had to die.

Just repent and get baptized

And knowing death’s close by

Will make you be so sincere

You won’t even have to try.

How God wants to fill you

With the Holy Ghost

It’s what you should desire

And cry out for the most.

But don’t you let it finish there

There’s more work to be done

Birth is just the start

Lay and ripen in the Sun.
