I was thinking of someone I love
Though from her I don’t hear
We’ve passed through stormy waters
But I stopped and bowed in prayer
God knows the paths we take
Sometimes there’s nothing you can do
But just hold on in love
Till they work these issues through
Though it seems that times gone on
Standing back it’s only fleeting
One day we’ll be restored
In a warm and tender meeting.
