What is the new Birth then?... It is the revelation of Jesus Christ personally to you… Not you joined a church, you shook a hand… you promised to live by a code of rules. But Christ, the Bible, He is the Word that was revealed to you. And no matter what anybody says, what takes place… It's Christ in you. That is the revelation that the Church was built upon.

STANDING IN THE GAP

There’s been many times in the past, I had problems unaware
Problems that would cause results that I’d do well to fear.
It was others standing in the gap it was the love they had for me
That God could break and mold and make the vessel I should be.

There’ve been times I’ve got so low and needed others prayers
One hand on God and one on me so life’s burden I could bear.
God help me not just wave goodbye when others fall away
But keep them in Your presence with the prayers that I should pray.

I’ll pay the price, I’ll lay me down and their burden bear
It’s a sacrifice that I can make ‘til they know how much You care.
Not some idea of fluffy love in reality love has cost
Someone has to pay, intercede for those who’re lost.

... Of course, we all understand that it was when Dathan and Korah had decided that they would interfere with the commission that God had give to Moses, saying, "You ought to let the whole congregation do such-and-such. They're all holy." And God had commanded Moses to lead the people to the promised land. And they said, "You take it upon yourself to do too much. You that try to make yourself the only one in the bunch that's got any say-so."
And this displeased God so much until He told Moses, "Separate yourself from among them. I'll just kill the whole bunch and start a new generation with you." And Moses fell in the Presence of God and said He'd have to come over him. See?
Now, today, if God was going to liquidate the people... And there was a time that when God had gotten tired of fooling with our sin (we constantly going wrong)... Who would stand like Moses today for the people? Where would we find a person that would stand, or could stand, that God would accept like He did Moses? And Moses' own life on earth meant so much to God till it stayed the wrath of God. And God would not cross over Moses.... One day in revelation of the Scripture there came this thought to me, that... You see, Moses in act was every way substituting. He was a type of Jesus Christ.

ONE DAY WE'LL BE RESTORED

I was thinking of someone I love
Though from her I don’t hear
We’ve passed through stormy waters
But I stopped and bowed in prayer

God knows the paths we take
Sometimes there’s nothing you can do
But just hold on in love
Till they work these issues through

Though it seems that times gone on
Standing back it’s only fleeting
One day we’ll be restored
In a warm and tender meeting.

FAITHFULNESS

An attribute that I covert, desire to see expressed
Is faithfulness in my life even when I’m pressed
I want a gracious spirit to put the trouble to one side
Then we’ll see the loveliness of faithfulness in a life that’s been applied

When trials come and friends don’t cope, or say things they should shame
There should be faithfulness to see it through even though it cause me pain
It’s the faith to know that things work out, that they were worth it form the start
That we’re in it for the long term, this is from God’s heart.

For loyalty earns love as they see that grace extended
And they realize this friendship is not one that can be ended
How grace will always cover, a multitude of failing
And see’s you through the trial when a friendship’s not smooth sailing

It’s faithfulness to God’s Word, that holds on through thick and thin
And when you see the Word in flesh though it’s clouded out by sin
What an honour to stand the test though you suffer some rejection
For there’s eternal value in that friend, if there’s God’s election.

CHRISTMAS

It’s Christmas once again, and another year is ending
And Christ is taken from the mass but there’s materialistic spending
Instead of love that reaches out and deeper contemplation
The pressure builds to satisfy unwanted obligation

If we could gather round the Word and appreciate the reason
There’d be no grudging duty, we could celebrate the season.
If God was really in it what a difference it would make
But He’s been left behind and it’s all become a fake

There’s pagans provocation, with their sinful ways they’re free
But resent the stand I make and my Christianity
So escape is my best option so I have liberty
To have relaxing atmosphere so I can just be me.

CHRISTMAS THOUGHT

People around here saying that they are of Christ, their church's of Christ they go to, and what happened last night? Opened up their Christmas presents. Let's see about daddy; ... under the Christmas tree of a many a man last night, set a big box of beer somewhere. No room for Jesus; all for beer. Opened up mama's present, a deck of cards. No room for Christ; the cards. That's right. Instead of a little Bible or something to the children, it's a little G-man book, or a little something like that. No room for Jesus. Instead of going to church, they go to shows, dances, everything, and call themself Christians.
Brother, when the Deity of God, by the Holy Ghost, comes into the human heart, It culls out everything that Christ hasn't created. You know that's the Truth.
Oh, Christ the hope of Glory in you, not in the cradle, in you. That was one time; God was back in the beginning, then He come into Moses, He come in the children of Israel, He come in the cradle. But now they're worshipping Him way back like some prehistoric something, when Christ in you. Here He is today, the Son of God moving up; His great Church is moving.
Today, the church has soup suppers, pie suppers, see who can dress the best, go in the church with pomp, glory who's got the best church, the best seats, who can play this, who can do that, and no room; all times they got something else to do besides prayer. They can't pray anymore. They got something else to do; they can't pray anymore. They just can't love--serve God like they used to. "No room for Him in the inn." And this is in the end time, friends. "No room for Him in the inn." 'Course, I know what that inn meant, but I am referring to this end.
But the Bible said, "In that day, when the almond tree shall flourish, desire of men shall fail; because he goes to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets; or the silver cord be broken, or the pitcher broke in the fountain." Oh, mercy, my friend...
But the prophet also said, "It'll be Light in the evening time." That's right. The path of Glory you shall surely find. That's right. The evening time's come. The church now, that was once dressed like that little manger in...?... that's ever been through, has come to a place now that the people are realizing that the Deity and the power of Almighty God is living in the human being.
Oh, brother, sister, let me speak to you in the Name of Jesus. What, do you still hear me? [Congregation, says, "Amen"--Ed.] Oh, my, let me tell you something!
The time's coming when women and men are just about alike. They dress so much alike you can't tell one from the other. That's right. All the things that the Bible said would come to pass, it's here. That's right, people. That's the Truth. Is it the Truth? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Is it the Truth? ["Amen."--Ed.] And they know it, it's the Truth. They act alike, look alike, talk alike, talk alike. The Bible said it would be that way. He said, "In the last days, that perilous times would come. Men would be lovers of their own selves, more than lovers of God; trucebreakers, false accusers." Is it here? That's right.
Oh, glory to God. I feel something rolling in my soul though. Oh, when I look out here... "As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the coming of the Son of man." Noah had some faithful ones in that day. God's got some faithful ones today. The hour is coming, this great drama setting.
Men and women, if the Holy Ghost is dwelling in you, the Christ that was born nineteen hundred years ago came to manhood. He never stayed in the cradle.
And today, that memorial of His birthday, what do they do? They get some tree, cut it down, make a Christmas tree, for the kiddies. That's all right; I'm not kicking against that. But the thing of it is, they put more on the Christmas tree than they do for Christ.
Kris Kringle's run over the country. Who was he? A German, a Catholic saint years ago, an old man went about doing good. And today it's become almost a worship. That's right. It's all right to tell the kiddies, or whatever you want to do, as far as I'm concerned. But the thing of it is, it's so easy to fall in that rut on the other side, and push out Christ, the real fundamental thing of Christmas. And man take Kris Kringle instead of real Christmas; that's right, "No room for Him in the inn."
It's all drawed down, if we had time. I know it's getting late, and it's getting late.
But look, friends, the hour has come, and is now, that when God's great drama set here before us. The Son of God, that was in the cradle, is in the heart now. He's the Deity of God. He's God the Creator. ... "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not."
And, today, that's what's the matter with the church. The hope of Glory, the baptism of the Holy Ghost has come into the people's hearts, and they don't recognize what It is. They think it's a little church-joining or something like that.
But that is the God, the Creator, living in you, and giving you all the power. And you're in possession of anything that He had. So is It in you to abstain from evil, to do good, to shun evil and flee to righteousness, to turn away from temptation. All malice, hatred, strife, envy, and so forth, come away from it, for that'll take Him from your heart, if you will receive Him, embrace Him and love Him, and hold Him in your heart and love Him. I tell you, the church together in that kind of a power, has the power to bind the heavens, heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind (Hallelujah.), the dumb speak, and the deaf hear, the cripples walk, the blind see. Why? It's recognizing the power of Almighty God into your heart. There He is, the Deity.
William Branham Deity of Jesus Christ 49-12-25

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God shall be finished, as he has declared unto his servants the prophets.

THREE WOMEN WATCHING: Pt 3

Mark 15 Part Three

Standing off afar
We see three women grieving
Not part of all the anger
And the church deceiving.

Not men as seen before
And part of all the action
But women standing distant
The Word being their attraction.

Christ’s Bride in ages still to come
Again manifest in three
Once again we see it
The story talks of me.

Anyone knows, that Scripture has a compound meaning, and history repeats itself. Do you believe Scripture has a compound meaning? All right.
...this one here, just comes in my mind, where in Matthew 3, it said, "Out of Egypt, I've called My Son." Run the reference to that and see if it didn't mean Jacob. Certainly, it did--Jacob, God's son; it meant Jesus, God's Son. It had a compound prophecy, many times has it.

THREE MEN ON THEIR CROSSES: Pt 2

St Mark 15

Three men upon their crosses
Hanging, suffering, dying
You’d think there’d be remorse
With a crowd in sorrow crying.

But the crowd shouts out in anger
With some mocking, jeering, smiling
And two upon their crosses
Take up the crowds reviling.

With obvious conviction
We see a change in one
As he defends the central figure
That he’d just mocked in fun.

The innocence so obvious
Has needs to be defended
And takes up the cause of Christ
Until his life is ended.

Again we see a mystery
Unfolding in the three
It’s not a story from days gone by
But God revealing me.

My flesh is antichrist
And must needs be dominated
By a spirit that’s converted
With sins results negated.

Then there’s the central figure
It always Christ the mystery
Now revealed in your life
Not a distant history.

A STORY OF THREE MEN: Pt 1

 Mark 15 Part One

An unconverted murderer
Condemned that he should die.
Another minds his business
With Jesus walking by.

Footsteps echo down the hall
A key turns in the lock.
Convinced it’s time to die
But the reality’s a shock.

Reluctantly the other’s forced
To carry Jesus load,
And softening he’s converted
As he walks that fateful road.

On asking “why?” The murderers shown,
The one who took his place.
The other kneels at the cross
As he beholds his Saviour’s face.

A story of three men
And events of different times
But there’s a mystery in the book
My part is in between the lines.

The flesh the spirit and the soul
And my place in Calvary
The Holy Ghost reveals
As I see the book is me.

WAKE JESUS IN THE BOAT

Since the days of John
With violence Heaven's taken.
Desperate souls who claim their rights
And must see Jesus waken.

Lest they perish in the storm
Or come to some great harm,
Wake Jesus in the boat
To speak the waters calm.

Though unnoticed and asleep
In their boat He’s always been,
And only now they’ve woken Him
He stands up and can be seen.

Then the demons tremble
And all creation bow.
Though quietly He speaks
For in His words there’s power.

Work it out the boats your flesh
The rowers were your will,
But It’s a living God that’s in you
That spoke the waters still.

VIRTUAL CHURCH

The Bible’s very clear about, the way church should be run.
Look in the book of Acts, when the church begun.
There’s clear teaching by St Paul, which we see reiterated,
By our prophet in the Message: this never was negated.

But now we see a strange thing, with virtual reality,
And imaginations come alive with technology.
So now there is a virtual church, and also God’s on line.
We can all be virtual Christians: no heart and strength and spine.
It's just one more example, of a church that's been hybrid,
Where convenience now is at its best and sin is easily hid.
There’s no need that love be exercised, for there’s no one irritating.
And there’s no need to overcome, so attitudes keep escalating.

Though they claim their pastors down the line, pay their tithes with on line banking,
A woman usually runs the show; it’s her they should be thanking.
She’ll be the one who calls the shots though she’ll hide behind a man,
And though it seems that he’s the boss, this was really all her plan.

There’s a church just down the road that preaches just the same,
But in a living body you can’t play this game.
In a living church, the Word will bring correction,
But in a virtual church, sin hides without detection.

Their pastor wouldn’t tolerate if he really knew,
The way they live their lives and the things they do.
They’d also stumble on his faults, and leave his church as well
But with a virtual church, it’s these things you can’t tell.

The thing that really breaks my heart, is that the children rarely make it.
Adults play religious games but children just can’t fake it.
If one Word ignored could cause the fall, then many cause disaster.
Don’t take a modern substitute and an on line plaster.

STANDING ON THE TRACK

A boy with name unknown, as the train went by his way
Would wave to guard and driver, every month and week and day
One day in a violent storm, he saw the bridge was broken down
And he knew that every person, in the train would drown

Further back along the track furiously waving
His bright red little coat, to stop them for their saving
But frame by frozen frame, as a dream played out so slow
They passed toward destruction, that only he could know

In frantic desperation and trying one last plan
He cut across a shorter way, and for their lives he ran
Lungs that burst for air, and muscles screaming pain
He realized his loss would be their greatest gain

As the train approached, brakes shrieking, sparking, sliding
It stopped before the bridge and the death that dusk was hiding
His jacket fluttering in the breeze, not just by dye, it red
He freely gave his life, his blood a gift he bled

Will you apply the brakes, when you see the warning waving?
Or will you crush them by the way, to the peril of your saving?
What stubborn pride and selfishness, with indifferent calloused heart
Would still race toward destruction knowing Christ has done His part

Standing on the track today, Christ still lays upon the altar
One last chance before the chasm, for those we love who falter
The bloodied Word by faith is still waving in the wind
Providing grace for those who want to turn away from sin.

My Grace is All Sufficient

The more I see of God in me
The more detestable I find
The faults I carry with me
That in the past I didn’t mind
How I loath the weakness that I bear
And pray God will give release
From the nagging thorns provoking
So I can live with me in peace.

Please have patience, give me time
I really need your grace
The Potter hasn’t finished yet
I’m still running in the race
I know there’re many faults you see
But my list on me is longer
Don’t despise my weakness
Help me if you’re stronger.

I appreciate all the prayers you pray
And thanks if you are fasting
Your faith will lift me higher
And do a work that’s lasting.
But now I hear God softly say
My grace is all sufficient
No guilty stain of sin remains
The Blood was all efficient.

ACT'S BELIEVING CHRISTIANS

If we were Act’s believing Christians
Love would be constraining,
To reign in our carnality,
And rebellion it’s containing.
Act’s believing Christians,
Don’t play religious games,
They know Ananias and Saphira,
And know God today’s the same.

If we were Act’s believing Christians
We’d put God’s family first.
We’d esteem them far above ourselves
And to serve there’d be a thirst.
Stop right now and check yourself
Be honest in your heart.
If these things can not be seen
It’s not to late to start.

THE EXAMPLE LIVES AT HOME

Does the church apply the Token

To keep your children in?
Is it other Christians lackings
That cause your kids to sin?
There’re about 6 billion others
Few of whom are known
So don’t worry about their influence
The example lives at home.

It’s a godly mum and dad
That put the Message first
This is being salty
And in kids creates a thirst.
When they see that there’s no compromise
That the landmarks aren’t being shifted
In the Word they’ll have a confidence
And in a new birth they’ll be lifted

It’s the parents Christianity
That the kids inspect
But if there’s compromise and sin
Their kids they will infect
From the little seeds we sow
A harvest soon we’ll reap
So make sure it’s Christianity
So your kids you’ll keep.

Uzziah,... And he was set on the throne and anointed at the age of sixteen years old, just a boy; but he was in line to be king, yet being just a lad. And he did well. The Bible tells us that he had a godly father and a godly mother, and he could be nothing else hardly with such influence as to be a godly boy, because that had been what had been placed before him at all time.
... to my opinion, the greatest president that we ever had in this nation was Abraham Lincoln.... because he was ... a godly man. And he was raised to serve God. And he said, "If there's anything that I want to give praise to," he said, "or my life was influenced by, was a godly mother who taught me to pray and to know Jesus as my Saviour."
Oh, your family's what you are. You raise your child in a certain environment; it's got a ninety-eight per cent better chance to go right than it has to if you bring it up in the wrong way. "Bring up a child in the way that it should go, and when it's old it'll not depart from it." Be brought up right, teach your children to do right, to be honest, to be square and fair even when they're in school.

I CAN POINT BEYOND THE VEIL

There’s something really beautiful
In the young ones that I see
And as they start to walk for Christ
I feel love well up in me

How I want to draw them in
And put them in my heart
They’d be immersed in love
And from Christ they’d not depart

I’d carry all their burdens
So they’d not feel any pain
And protect them from all evil
But in this there’d be no gain

They have to win their wars
And be victors in the fight
To appreciate the day time
They must labour through the night

If I carried all their burdens
I’d die with such a load
But it’s just the love that’s in my heart
To want to help them on life’s road

As a friend I want to share
My life and know theirs too
And encourage, pray and urge them on
In the hard times they go through

But I find that I can’t do it
But I can point beyond the veil
To a place that they can rest
With no trouble or travail
