What is the new Birth then?... It is the revelation of Jesus Christ personally to you… Not you joined a church, you shook a hand… you promised to live by a code of rules. But Christ, the Bible, He is the Word that was revealed to you. And no matter what anybody says, what takes place… It's Christ in you. That is the revelation that the Church was built upon.

HOLINESS

Have we forgotten what Holiness is,
And the standard that God said to keep?
Time will show the standards you sow,
Will be the standards you reap.

The children can go to the dance if it’s good,
And the men can wear shorts at the beach.
And "what a great view from the room of the pool,"
Where anatomy Jezebels teach.

And “my illegitimate grandchildren are really such fun”
And “I’m excited there’s more on the way.”
Long forgotten is the shame with this sin,
This is a different day.

And the music, we know what the prophet would say,
Rock n Roll and Ragtime were sin.
But now we’ve slipped so far down the line,
We let that and Reggae right in.

The line is definitive the Message is clear,
The Word he spoke just wont budge.
When he heard Christian lyrics to Ragtime,
The prophet said God would judge.

I look around for old fashioned Christians,
But see the standard is falling.
It’s time to check up down on our knees,
Where you can hear the Word softly calling.

IT"S KIND THAT RECOGNISES KIND

Salvation didn’t come
By negotiated contract
It’s kind that recognizes kind
When the two come into contact.
The Deep that’s out there to respond,
Is because there’s one that’s calling
The Seed just can’t be lost,
Though in sinful flesh that’s falling.

God rips away the veil of sin
That had the image shrouded
And revelation clears our minds
That our carnality had clouded.
Now Light on Seed to germinate
God’s amazing grace
It’s the same life over here,
Just in a different place.

THE TRANSIENT WAY OF TIME

The transient way of time with it’s fleeting moments past,
For the moment seems to drag, but looking back it seems so fast.
Farewells are said too often for those we’ve come to know,
For with time comes reasons we must leave for the ways that we must go.

There’ll soon come a time when time will cease, for sin will be defeated,
And the temporary life we’ve lived will gladly be completed.
And those who labored for this time will have no sad farewell,
But who they’ll be I do not know, but eternity will tell.

WORSHIPING IN SPIRIT

Spirit grieving deep inside
Wounded by the way,
It’s treated with contempt and scorn
By the foolish things men say.

How He wants to enter in
And move His children’s hearts,
Worshipping in their own way
Living out their part.

Whether mellowed by His presence
Quietly in awe,
Or shouting out His praises
As they spill out of the door.

Just like our fathers acted
When the Holy Ghost first fell,
And the praises of God’s children
Shook the gates of hell.

I want God to hear my praise
And hope Satan’s listening to,.
Sounding like a multitude
Even though we’re just a few.

If worship makes me look a fool
With drunken men’s behavior,
I’m just fulfilling scripture
As I exalt my Saviour.

WORD CONNECTION

"I must go by Samaria, I have something on my mind."
So they leave the crowd that day to see what He would find.
Weary from the walking He sits upon the well,
Yet as His disciples go for food, His purpose He wont tell.

It's a woman that He wants, not her body but her soul,
And the Water that He has to give will make this woman whole.
He knows regardless of her state, she's a part of Him,
Though she's callous, crusted up and lives a life of sin.

Despising of His type, she brushes Him aside,
But as He makes a contact, there's no where for her to hide.
As Light comes flooding in her soul, the darkness must depart,
And we see the Seed respond, that was hidden in her heart.

She knew Messiahs character, that only He could tell,
The things that she had done and the manner that she fell.
As the deep begins responding, there's now no more rejection,
For their hearts were always one, but now there's Word connection.

Now we see reaction as she runs to spread the news.
"Redemptions at the gate with a Messiah from the Jews!"
No more caution, no more shame, her life's been changed by grace,
As she shouts aloud the gospel, there's no need to hide her face.

Now a hero through the ages, this change is so sublime.
Her perfection and her righteousness would be told on down through time.
It's a victory God can have in a life prepared to die,
As we see the flesh release it's grip and watch the Spirit fly.

The little woman at the well, ill-famed. She'd seen so much bogus amongst the people professing...  They went into Sychar to get some food, the disciples, and Jesus left alone. The Father had sent Him up there because He had need go by. He was going to Jericho, but He went up around the mountain 'cause He had need: one soul, and her a prostitute. Oh, amazing grace. One soul out of the whole thing, and her an ill-fame, calling off of His regular journey plumb up here.
... About eleven o'clock she come out to get some water. She might've started to let the bucket down, and her curls dropped down over her face. And she started to let the bucket down. She heard somebody say, "Bring Me a drink." She looked over quickly, and there set a Jew.
She said, "It's not customary for such a thing, a Jew to ask a Samaritan anything."
He said, "But if you knew Who you were talking to, you'd ask Me for a drink." What was He doing? Contacting her spirit. Father had sent him up there. Now, the subject is there. Hallelujah. I saw something then. O God. Father sent Him up there, and now here's the subject before Him. He don't know what to say, but He carries a conversation. He said--talked about worship at Jerusalem, and the Jews and so forth, and the well they talked about. After while He found where her trouble was.
Said, "Go, get your husband and come here."
She said, "I have no husband."
Said, "That's right. You've had five, and the one you've got now is not your husband."
She said, "Sir, I perceive that Thou art a prophet. We know that the Messiah is called the Christ; He's coming, the Anointed One. And when He comes, He will be a prophet. He will tell us those things."
He said, "I'm He that speaks to you." Talk about persistence.
You know, it wasn't actually... If you know the oriental custom, a woman of that type should never approach a man in the market place. That's right. Not till this day in India, and different places. No, sir. The men wouldn't even hear her. Look at her. She's marked a prostitute. They'd turned their back, no matter what she said.
But what? They couldn't ignore her. They couldn't ignore the woman. Why? She had a hold of faith. She had a message. They couldn't stop her. She said, "Come see a Man Who's told me the things that I've done. Isn't this the very Messiah? Isn't this He?" And the Bible said the whole city believed because of the woman's testimony.

Now, then, see that he [Moses]was born with this great gift and quality within him. Then it only taken something to flash across that to bring that thing to Life. See, the seed of God is actually placed in us from the foundation of the world. And when that Light first strikes that seed, it brings it to Life, but the Light first has to come upon the seed.
I've taught many times of the little woman at the well, her in that condition. Though she be an ill-famed person, though her life was degraded, and she was in that condition, because that traditions had never touched her. But though when that Light first struck her, quickly she recognized It, 'cause there was something there to respond to It.
When the deep calls to the deep, there must be a deep somewhere to respond to that call.
