What is the new Birth then?... It is the revelation of Jesus Christ personally to you… Not you joined a church, you shook a hand… you promised to live by a code of rules. But Christ, the Bible, He is the Word that was revealed to you. And no matter what anybody says, what takes place… It's Christ in you. That is the revelation that the Church was built upon.

FEAR GOD

Fearing God we’re taught, is wisdom’s starting place
And until you start to fear Him there’s no starting in the race
For a Holy God in justice with righteous indignation
Will require answers from you and for sin an explanation

All the pride that bolstered sin and demons entertaining
Will abandon you upon that day, leave you with the explaining
With all your filth more filthy still, and exposed before all men
You’ll wished you’d feared God now for you’ll certainly fear Him then

You’ve had answers and know the way that God from sin provided
He’s entreated softly to your heart, He’s provoked and pushed and chided
But stubbornly you carry on, enjoy the pleasures of your faults
And try to say you’re having fun, in spite of sin’s results

Like a child you play a game but this one plays for keeps
And while you sowed for Satan you’ll be the one who reaps
More tender love you’ll never know than God freely gave to all
But more frightening wrath you’ll never see if on His grace you didn’t fall

Over in Ecclesiastes the 12th chapter and the 13th verse, it's written like this. See? "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is the full duty of man."
The conclusion of the whole matter is to fear God. And when, you cannot have respects until you have fear. You've got to have fear of God. Solomon said also in the Proverbs that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom: the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
Now, that don't mean that you're afraid of Him, but that means that you're giving respects and reverence. And when you respect God, you fear God. You fear that you might displease Him in some way; you fear lest you would do something wrong.

I'LL TRUST YOUR EVERY LEADING

I’ll serve You Lord in any way
I’ll trust Your every leading,
I’ll stand up tall and walk your will
Not fall down begging, pleading

Through the fire, through the flood
I know You’ll guide and keep
Though danger come You’ll lead me through
As a Shepherd guides his sheep

What tender hand with sweet caress
Your comfort I can feel
And when completely broken down
Your love is there to heal.

Through my life there’s never been a time
That this trust has been betrayed
Though to help to teach me patience
The reason’s been delayed

And when trials just get greater
My trust increases too
For I know that You’ll provide the grace
To help to get me through

THANK YOU FOR THIS TRIAL LORD

Thank You for this trial Lord
It’s really what I needed.
I can say it’s brought out character
That the Holy Ghost had seeded.

In this deep and shadowed valley
I found Your shining Light.
To lead me on this rugged path
And see me through the night.

I found that all the problems
That came from every side,
Had no affect up on my heart
And the Life I had inside.

But rather it just chipped away,
At the weakness of my mind.
And helped me drop and leave some faults,
So very far behind.

God doesn't promise a flower bed of Eden. Don't falsify a Christian, and don't falsify the message by telling that everything's going to be all right, there nothing going to harm you, there's nothing going--ain't no trials or nothing. That's wrong. As a poet said, "Must I be carried home to heaven on a flower bed of ease, while others fought to win the prize and sailed through bloody seas?" No, sir. God doesn't promise ease and prosperity. But He promises grace to endure in every trial. It's the grace that we look to.

THERE'S A PRICE TO PAY

There’s a price to pay for all the things,
We do we know aren’t right.
For not one of these is hidden,
In the darkness of the night.

There’s a steadfast law of God’s we find,
Of sowing then of reaping.
It helps to wash us clean,
So the Word we’re happy keeping.

There’s one thing some have overlooked,
It may not be them who pay.
For constrained by love someone will suffer,
As they were led to pray.

Who knows the very depths of pain,
Some one standing in your place,
Has suffered so your way is smoothed,
Because you turned away God’s grace.

How long must others suffer,
While your heart you keep on hardening.
It’s in your power to give release,
As you accept God’s gracious pardoning.

The mind can never comprehend,
The love that God is giving.
And sometimes He does it through the saints,
By the sacrifice they’re living.

Samson was willing to pay the price to get the power of God back in his life again. I wonder if the church is, this afternoon, willing to pay the price and die with the enemy, the thing, all your popularity, and all your this, that, or the other, just to see the power of God back on you again, and become a prisoner of Jesus Christ?

HOME

A resting place, a refuge,
From life’s constant pressure,
Where I relax with those I love,
Is a home that I can treasure.
Love and laughter always near,
Familiar ways and faces,
A place where I can rest,
When I return from distant places.

There’s forgiveness when I get it wrong,
And God is welcome here.
I’m free to tell my dreams,
And my convictions share.
But this home is just a glimpse,
Of the home I’m longing for,
Where my Father’s waiting for me,
With the home He’s got in store.

God has provided us a Sacrifice. And He's just as real tonight. He can speak you into good health. He can speak you in from a sinner to a Christian. He can do anything that you believe that He will do for you, that He's made it, because the Sacrifice has already been made. Jesus Christ met that place, and Jehovah-jireh has provided a Lamb for your healing, and for your salvation, and for your home in glory, for your security till He comes. A Lamb has already been provided.

TIME

What’s time compared to eternity,
With all it’s imperfection.
A tangent line that briefly meets,
And creates an intersection.

Every day is always new,
As eternity has no measure.
But sin needed time to have effect,
To mould character that we’d treasure.

For character is all we keep,
It’s all you’ll see of me.
I’m not the body that I live in,
That’s just the house you see.

And when sin no longer has a hold,
Time must finish too.
As we step into eternity
And this life on earth is through.

Where is all the sorrow then?
Where are all the worries?
No more stress and anguish,
No bustle, pressure; hurry.

So time shrinks down in reality,
Though hard and full of sorrow.
What’s that compared to all the joy,
When we’ll live with no tomorrow?

Eternal peace, eternal joy,
There’ll never be a parting.
And when we’ve been there a million years,
It’s only just the starting.

That’s the way that we describe it,
But the description’s not quite true.
There’s no end and there’s no start,
For every moment’s new.

Now, this great chain of perfection was broken by time space. Time came because of sin. Let's draw a picture of time. Let's see, a perfect circle, forever, forever, and then all of a once, sin dropped in and put a little, as my wife calls it, a little hickey or a little drop in the chain so it comes down now. Eternity continues on, but it's not in its perfect condition.
There's a little gap comes down, breaks over this way, goes out this away. God had to do that because Satan caused it. And it dropped down to a space of time for the trying, and the perfecting, and for the purging of the lost, that God by His sovereign grace might someday lift that little hickey or gap back into the perfect circle. Then she rolls on just the same.

Son's of God are Led by the Spirit of God

Son’s of God are led by God
Not by mans convention.
It’s not imagination,
 Or some carnal minds invention.
God’s will won’t be confined,
By social expectation.
So listen for that still small voice,
 As He gives His invitation.
It cuts across imagination,
 And will contradict your plan.
But in that His will isn’t limited,
By the failings of a man.
It’s something we can trust in,
 And have confidence in spite,
How everything may seem;
 Everything will work out right.
God works in mysterious ways,
 His wonders to perform.
Don’t try to work them out,
For God will not conform.
Some questions won’t have answers,
And will perplex you if you try,
To work it out with human mind.
And try to find the reasons why.
Be still and knowing God,
 Doesn’t speak about inaction,
But speaks of faith and peace,
 Mixed with Holy Ghost reaction.
Quick to do His will,
 Obedience that’s decisive,
Regardless of opinion,
That may seem divisive.
